daydreaming about warm weather--because i know with warm weather, i'll be that much closer to summer-and that means, summer break. i just grabbed these CHEAP MONDAY jeans from urban-wasn't too sure about them bc of the high waist, but i throw a t over it-and they are perfect, like pairing it with this mcqueen tee, chucks & my marc by marc jacobs studs n' staples satchel (but i actually have the style in fluro pink, which i am so excited for in the spring & summer)

last night a dj saved my life

my boy, andy 24" turned me on to johnno burgess-a dj out of london. he made me this great mix by burgess over xmas break called 'yacht rock' and it consists of lots of soft pop 80s music -very unexpected & almost queer, but totally rad--ie phil collins, robert palmer & that band toto..you know, they sang africa--which is a totally badass tune if i ever did hear one. my personal favorite being the paradise cut, 'in love with you..' that would definitely be on my lifetime made for tv movie soundtrack. lol

i first learned about hannah marshall almost 2 years ago. i think they had a small blurb about her in elle magazine -and i was so fascinated with the couple of pics i saw, i checked her out online. i have yet to own a piece by her, but i totally fantasize. her designs are quite minimal at a quick glance-but with a level of artistry so striking it deserves further investigation. combining heavy leathers with fur & often lighter sheers-creates structured pieces with a romantic edge, imagine a dark baby doll. not the type of clothes that can be worn by any & all-the pieces only bring forward an even greater strength to the edgy gem who pulls it off.

went to an art show with friends last night. i was happy to get out & about -away from school stuff n' people. didn't really care for any of the art-but this group called the kings performed. they had them set up in a small alcove -which was really rather perfect, each of them took turns bouncing off the walls and into the crowd. really dug the track-dungeon master & enjoyed all the live video feed they played too. imagine big breasted bikini babes with ak's. it was good stuff.

i'm starting to think maybe this is not the right time for an AMAAAAAAZING blog. i mean, did i make such a claim? i can hardly find time or energy to write -which is very weird for me-bc i do enjoy a good talk.

everyday is like sunday

i am seriously uber bored right now. done with finals-lazy as hell and really just wanting to relax a little bit before i get back into busting ass for school again. i've been scoping you tube, peepin shoes online and watching vh1 for the past 7 hours. i made it through the entire season of a real chance at love
and now i am on to celebrity rehab-and it looks like a new show called teen idol is coming on. wait, you know whats hilarious about this show-its about what former teen idols are doing now. they have the older bro from the wonder years, that guy who dated tory spelling and wore a moto jacket on 90210,dave hasselhoffs son on baywatch (who looks like a tool now) and like a bunch of other rejects who haven't booked a gig in years and are hopping on the reality tv band wagon. oooohhh so titillating!





even better though is this iggy video i found. iggy is fucked out of his mind here. i love how he needed people to carry him out. but seriously folks, he is the coolest. one of the most badass mofos out there. love this track like always. take a listen you'll be hooked too.

all great things get jacked eventually. take for instance these shoes by acne.


pretty insane, huh? only a few people could pull these killers off. love the cut outs all the way up and i love wedges because you can walk around in them all day and feel comfortable. but slept on these-they came in black & white. i probably would have gotten the white. but check these out the MAUNE style shoe from aldo.

(sorry had to post a link rather than a photo bc the aldo website sucks) things that are copied and brought to you from less expensive brands always go the cheaper route. one of the reasons that make the acne shoes so appealing is the leather. i generally stay away from suede bc somehow it always gets ruined. but these aren't half bad.

ok and so next rip off are these AWESOME martin margiela shoes.

so aldo goes and does it AGAIN with the JOECKS.

since i have not been able to score the real thing totally sold out EVERYWHERE-i am going to pick these up. love them in the black, though margiela came out with nude ones to D-I-E for. but you can't beat the price-under $150 opposed to $700?! definitely scoring these-and i have a friend who works there-so i get 40% off too. how do u like dem apples?

i'm really very much into these new bulga bags. a tye dye bag just seems like the perfect solution to get me out of this winter rut and start daydreaming about spring & summer.
feelin' the purple & white combo. it would be a dream come true if it was black on purple-but either way i am pretty satisfied. there is something about tye dye on leather that just makes me all gushy supreme. there is some nice detail 'de beber' satchel. notice the braided straps. definitely feel like that size & style would be the best way to go for what it is.

who's a lazy sob? oo oo meeeee! i keep setting my alarm for something like 8:30am, and then i get up and its like 1pm. so i would say this is a little morning post, but its totally not. trust me i got nothin but love for this crazy, but seriously folks, this is what happens when you take a lot of drugs. and judging from this disaster, this could even be the aftermath of prolonged use-like she got dressed like this on monday while doin crap-and wow, this picture was taken on saturday. so, do drugs in the privacy of your mansion- where you can imagine its a magical forest with mushroom top tables -and your fairy friends -that way the rest of us aren't left to speculate, did courtney love lose her goddamned mind again?
